A new step forward for regenerator thermal efficiency improvement
Thanks to 35 years of experience and success, Saint-Gobain SEFPRO announces a new shape of cruciform for regenerators of glass melters called Type 8.
Dedicated for top checkerwork courses, Type 8 cruciform is fully compatible with existing packages for both End Fired and Cross Fired furnaces. This product allows for fuel consumption reduction up to 5% compared to current cruciforms solution by locally enhancing thermal exchanges. Typical rectangular flues of 150 x 60 mm is one of the key features of this high end development.
Combining a high performance aerodynamic with a higher specific surface than any other solution, this cruciform will help you to reduce your fuel consumption as well as your CO2 and NOx emissions.
