Repair Cast-in-Place Alumina
A self-flow concrete created with electro-fused alumina grains, especially formulated for cold repairs
Repair Cast-in-Place Alumina is an electro-fused grains based, self-flowing and self-leveling, hydraulic set concrete. It can be used for glass contact as well as superstructure applications in partial cold furnace repairs.
Typical application
Repair Cast-in-Place Alumina is a free-flowing, electro-fused alumina-based castable designed for hot and cold repairs in container, flat, and insulation glass furnaces.
It is especially suited for complex geometries across various zones, including superstructures, bottoms, and forehearths.
Advantages
| Easy to Apply | Thanks to its unique free-flowing properties, this product can be used in the most complex repair configurations. |
| Versatility | Its specific formulation makes it suitable for use in all parts of furnaces, specifically compatible with the working-end. |
| Longevity | The electro-fused alumina grains gives the product unique corrosion resistance properties. |
