ZirKlear™
Zircon material
ZirKlear™ ensures low blistering behavior and enhanced lifetime.
Typical application
- danner tubing mandrels.
- spouts, spout inserts, orifice rings in soda-lime and opal glass furnace.
The specifically-selected raw materials in the ZirKlear™ patented composition ensure a lower blistering index compared to CZ66.
The low-blistering zircon is made of zirconium silicate grains produced by SEFPRO, which provide a high resistance to vapor attack and borosilicate glass corrosion.
ZirKlear™ provides enhanced lifetime versus CZ66, with a drastically reduced blistering behavior, allowing applications for flint and amber pharmaceutical glass for Danner tubing mandrels or expendables.
