Repair Cast-In-Place CHROM50 is an unshaped product, using a hydraulic setting, dedicated to furnace cold repairs. It can be installed by casting or pumping methods. Vibration is needed to have a good de-airing and to ensure a maximum final density.

This product includes specific chemistry architecture, Cr2O3 matrix/grain optimization, and specific crystallography Al2O3 - Cr2O3 solid solution. It leads to best-in-class application properties including electrical resistivity and corrosion resistance in melted glass.

Typical application

Repair Cast-In-Place CHROM50 can be used in an array of applications in electric, cross-fired, or end-fired furnaces including Forehearth glass contact, Bottom, Side Wall and Throat. 

It is particularly suited for Container glass, Flat glass, Insulation glass markets.
