Repair Hot Overcoat Alumina can be cast in a range of temperatures from 100°C to 1,500°C (212°F-2,732°F) either in contact with refractories or metallic forms. The self-flow rheology of the product provides unique ability to repair worn, inaccessible, or hollow areas, even at the highest temperatures.
Typical application
Repair Hot Overcoat Alumina is a self-flowing castable formulated with fused cast alumina, designed for hot repair operations in container, flat, and insulation glass furnaces. It is suitable for use in:
- Superstructure
- Bottom
- Sidewall
- Feeder
- Crown
