Composed of only amorphous silica, they offer extremely high resistance to thermal shock and withstand rapid heat-up cycles.

They are specifically suited for hot crown repair operations though they can be used also for construction. They can be easily recut on site, for last minute adjustments. Their high silica content makes them compatible with any glass composition, including the purest ones.

Typical Application

Repair Tiles Fused Silica are designed for superstructures, bottoms, and side walls in container, flat, and insulation glass furnaces.
