Sintered alumina-zirconia-silica (AZS) with 10% zirconia

Description

Good corrosion resistance with low open porosity. Available in complex and large shapes.

Typical application

ZA33 M is mainly used in forehearth as glass contact channel blocks. Good corrosion resistance and low porosity associated with good thermal shock resistance.

Its very good corrosion resistance and low porositity ensure a long and consistent lifespan. Its good thermal shock resistance reduces cracking during heat-up.
For applications sensitive to cat scratches and stoning, we recommend BPAL (Zirconia free).
