High corrosion resistance alumina-zirconia-silica (AZS) for simple rectangular shapes. Essentially free of casting cavity which allows a very homogeneous internal structure and corrosion resistance.
Typical application
The void-free electrofused alumina-zirconia-silica (AZS) with 36% zirconia, ER 1685 RT solution is mainly used as melting sidewall applications for flame furnaces.
ER 1685 RT provides superior and homogeneous resistance to corrosion from top to bottom.
