ER 1711® RT
Void-free electrofused alumina-zirconia-silica (AZS) with 40% zirconia solution
Alumina-zirconia-silica (AZS) material with highest corrosion resistance and good castability for various shapes and sizes. It is essentially free of casting cavities and allows a very homogeneous internal structure and corrosion resistance.
Typical application
Owing to a higher concentration of ZrO2 phase, the void-free electrofused alumina-zirconia-silica (AZS) with 40% zirconia, ER 1711 RT solution offers a very high corrosion resistance for a very large range of applications:
- glass contact sidewalls, electrode blocks and throat
- glass contact working end and feeders for corrosive glass
- critical superstructure areas such as tuckstones, port sills and arches.
- available with TuckPro solution
