Typical application
The void-free electrofused zirconia with improved upward drilling corrosion resistance, XiROC® 95 RT solution is dedicated to highly solicited areas where chrome content materials are not an option due to risk of coloration or contamination :
- throat lintels and cover blocks
- distributors and feeder covers
- sidewall and weir wall. In specialty glasses furnaces such as borosilicate.
The very low solubility of XiROC® 95 RT provides a very high resistance to corrosion, particularly in areas subject to strong corrosion by upwards drilling.
