Alumina-zirconia-silica (AZS) sealing cement

Description

Fine grains alumina-zirconia-silica (AZS) cement to seal and joint alumina-zirconia-silica (AZS) surfaces.

Typical application

Easy-to-use cement with good malleability at low temperatures. Ideal solution for jointing during construction and repair operations : adhesion of insulation panels, sealing of alumina-zirconia-silica (AZS) blocks and patching tiles or insulation, jointing between tuckstones and sidewalls, etc..

ERPLAST® 05 CEMENT has a good corrosion resistance and good adhesion properties.

Due to its high alumina content it cannot be used in contact with silica. For application with contact with silica check out the ERPLAST® Z PATCH.

Fused cast

Void-free electrofused alumina-zirconia-silica (AZS) with 40% zirconia solution

Alumina-zirconia-silica (AZS) material with highest corrosion resistance and good castability for various shapes and sizes. It is essentially free of casting cavities and allows a very homogeneous internal structure and corrosion resistance.

Fused cast

Regular cast electrofused Alumina-Zirconia-Silica (AZS) with 36% zirconia and a low silicate phase (14%)

Low exudation and high creep resistance.
Good resistance to alkali vapour and carry over.
