Sintered sillimanite 61% alumina
Excellent thermal shock resistance. Available in complex and large shapes.
Typical application
ARKAL 60 V is adapted to complex and large shape for feeder superstructure including covers, burner blocks, mantle blocks. Also used in bottom sub-paving and electrical furnace superstructure.
For standard brick format refer to MS 6.
For severe alkali or boron vapor corrosion, refer to ZMV and PROMOLD.
For a higher creep resistance application, refer to ARKAL 65 V.

Storage
The sintered sillimanite 61% alumina, ARKAL 60 V solution must be stored in a dry environment protected from weather conditions.
