Bonded alumina-zirconia-silica (AZS) with 30% zirconia
Made of alumina-zirconia-silica (AZS) grains. High corrosion resistance to alkali or boron vapours. Available in complex and large shapes.
Typical application
PROMOLD is manufactured with alumina-zirconia-silica (AZS) grains providing a good corrosion resistance to alkali or boron vapours. Used in :
- forehearth superstructure subject to high corrosion such as sodalime coloring zone and insulation glass fiber,
- frits and enamel furnaces superstructure including crown,
- and burner block.
If mortar is required, use PROMOLD MORTAR.
