C1215Z
Sintered dense high chrome
High purity material with specific microstructure improving the resistance to thermal shock resistance. Low stoning and blistering with excellent corrosion resistance.
Typical application
C1215Z is mainly used in the critical high-wear areas of reinforcement and textile fiber glass furnaces including :
- melter sidewalls, bottom paving and dog house corners,
- forehearth and feeder side rails, flow blocks, bushing blocks and corner blocks.
The specific microstructure is designed to increase the thermal shock resistance for minimize cracking risk during furnace heat-up and operation. The inherent refractoriness of Cr2O3 combined with high density results in a refractory with excellent corrosion resistance against a wide variety of molten glasses and slags.
