C12TS
Coarse grain sintered dense high chrome
Very high corrosion resistance with good thermal-mechanical properties. Uniform and single-phase microstructure enabling low stoning risk.
Typical application
C12TS is typically used in high-wear areas. With good thermal-mechanical properties, C1221 is also used in areas subject to high thermal gradient.
- Reinforcement and textile fiber glass furnaces : throat, flow blocks and doghouse areas.
- Insulation fiberglass furnaces : throat and other high-wear areas.
- Sodalime glass furnaces : throat and submerged wall.
The superior corrosion resistance minimize the potential impact on glass coloration.
C12TS is also a potential material for overcoating applications.
