Alumina-Zirconia-Silica (AZS) material combining high electrical resistivity and high corrosion resistance, mostly dedicated to sodalime and borosilicate glass furnaces.
XeBOOST™ 46 RT has a good castability for various shapes and sizes.

Typical application

Having the highest electrical resistivity among the whole AZS range combined with a superior corrosion resistance, XeBOOST™  reinforce performances and reliability in a large range of application :

  • Electrode block for standard and high boost furnaces, hybrid and all-electric glass furnaces
  • Sidewall blocks, throat facer blocks, refining banks and weir walls

Storage

The void-free electrofused alumina-zirconia-silica (AZS) with 46% zirconia, XeBOOST™ 46 RT solution must be stored in a dry environment protected from weather conditions.
