Sintered mullite-sillimanite 71% alumina
Good corrosion resistance to alkali vapours. Available in standard brick format.
Typical application
ARKAL 71 M is used in upper section of regenerators: partition wall, sidewalls and target wall.
For a higher creep resistance application in alkali atmosphere, refer to MS75 or BP MULLITE.
If mortar is required, use MULLITE MORTAR or BP MULLITE MORTAR.
