Void-free electrofused alumina-zirconia-silica (AZS) with 36% zirconia

Description

High corrosion resistance alumina-zirconia-silica (AZS) solution for simple rectangular shapes. Essentially free of casting cavity which allows a very homogeneous internal structure and corrosion resistance.
This product is exclusively produced at the Falconer, NY, USA plant.
Equivalent to ER 1685 RT solution.

Typical Application

The void-free electrofused alumina-zirconia-silica (AZS) solution with 36% zirconia,MONOFRAX® CS-4 Epic-3 is mainly used as melting sidewall applications for flame furnaces.
It provides superior and homogeneous resistance to corrosion from top to bottom.
